Hail or wind damage? Get an honest answer first.
After a storm, Tenpenny inspects your roof, photographs what we find, and tells you plainly whether the damage is worth a claim. We're a local, licensed Wisconsin contractor. We don't knock doors, and we don't push claims that won't hold up.
What happens after you call
- Inspection. We check shingles, vents, flashing and gutters, and photograph any hail or wind damage.
- Straight answer. If the damage is real, we tell you. If it's wear, or less than your deductible, we tell you that too.
- Your claim. You file with your insurer. We give you photos and a written scope, and we can meet the adjuster on site.
- Written price. You get our price for the repair or replacement. Your policy decides what the insurer pays.
- Install and paperwork. We do the work and send the final invoice and photos you need to collect any held-back depreciation.
Know your policy before you sign
- Many Wisconsin policies now pay older roofs on actual cash value or a roof payment schedule, not full replacement cost. Ask your agent which one you have.
- Wind and hail deductibles are often a percentage of your home's coverage, not a flat amount.
- We never waive, rebate or cover your deductible. Wisconsin law prohibits it (Wis. Stat. 100.65).
